Ariel Silverstone wrote last week on the dangers and opportunity of cloud security ahead. Agree with his take that time to market is one of the biggest drivers for cloud computing. Going from months to weeks in set-up time increases productivity and potential revenue. Silverstone also notes that standards are important – the CSA (cloud security alliance) and possibly Jericho group seem well positioned. Lets ensure we do not make the same mistakes from the past… keep it simple and have heavy customer involvement.
